1) True Loves Sheffield
Situated on the backdrop of Victoria Quays overlooking the many canal boats in the Don, True Loves is opening its doors for the first ever time on April 12th. Serving up small plates and sharing platters of Yorkshire cheeses, meats and pickles, along with beers, and craft ales. The focus is very much on locally sourced food and drinks, with the coffee coming from city roasters Forge. So get yourself booked in to enjoy a fantastic spot by the river, hopefully soak up a few rays and enjoy some of Yorkshires finest food and drinks!

2) Picture House Social (Public Pop-Up Event)
A rather special event as Public pops up outside Picture House Social down Abbeydale Road. A treat for everyone, but it’s key you get yourself booked in early as Public is only there for 5 weeks. The staff are on hand to give you the full Public experience, serving up 10 of the most gorgeous cocktails. The Picture House crew will also be whipping up their famous pizza. 3) Domo
Situated in the heart of Little Kelham, Domo are bringing the Mediterranean to Sheffield. The outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy an Apertivo, a few nibbles and an Aperol Spritz, which should whet the appetite for some Sardinian soul food, from the family run restaurant. 4) Bench
A neighbourhood hangout, with bistro-style dining, serving up seasonal dishes with cocktails, natural wines and beers. Originally ran as a pop-up, Bench prides itself on being a ‘communal hangout’ a place to relax, chill out and enjoy some great food and drinks. A little out of the city centre in Nether Edge, you can also grab yourself wines, ready-to-drink cocktails and charcuterie, with Bench also having an in-house shop, blurring the lines between eat/drink-in and takeaway.

5) Piña
Pina will open its outdoor seating spot on the 12th April and might just inspire you to take a trip to Mexico. Get your hands messy and get those sharing plates, dive into some tacos, nachos, churros and of course plenty of tequilas or margaritas. 6) Lavang
If you’re in the mood for something a little spicier, Lavang is the place to get to for a slice of India. Although described as a ‘fine dining’ restaurant, there’s an incredibly relaxed vibe with a very personable service. Straying away from some of your typical curry houses, with a 15 page menu, Lavang have put a strong focus on quality over quantity, with a compact menu that importantly isn’t just all curry. Located in Fulwood, it’s a great venue to treat yourself and enjoy an evening out.

7) Saw Grinders Union
Hidden away in Globe Works, Kelham Island, Saw Grinders Union is one of the coolest spots in Kelham. The outdoor seating area has recently expanded so the bar can host more people, creating an effortless buzzing atmosphere. With an American style menu, it doesn’t matter if you want pancakes in the morning, or a big juicy burger in the evening, they’ll have you covered. 8) The Great Gatsby
The Division Street favourite has returned! Along with the resurrection of EVERYONE'S favourite, Shy Boy Cantina. Gatsby’s kitchen brings flavours and ingredients heavily influenced by Mexican street food and we're SO happy to see it make a return. 9) The Parrot Club
Sat on Burton Road in Kelham, Parrot Club has the founders of Sheffield favourite O’Hara’s Spiced Rum creating a range of explosive cocktails for you. It’s not all about the rum though, the menu is separated into eight sections, with each one dedicated to a classic cocktail, so there’s plenty of experimentation. Be sure to get yourself a table in their outdoor terraced area and ‘rum’ the night away.

10) The Millowners Arms
Tucked away just next to the Kelham Island Museum, Millowners Arms, offers up its range of cask beers and bistro food. Running along the river Don, it’s a great spot to chill out after work and settle down with a few beers and scrumptious, bistro food, the onion bhaji fries are a house favourite. There’s plenty of nostalgia around too, however, the old industrial décor doesn’t interrupt the 10 out of 10 vibe you get.
