Ashoka has been serving Sheffield since 1967, older than most of its customers and still louder than all of them. The food is proper. The energy is its own. But online, it wasn’t quite landing. That’s where we came in.
We weren’t hired to reinvent anything. Just to tighten the screws. The existing brand had weight, so we didn’t touch the name, logo, or colours we just sharpened how and where they showed up. From typography to tone of voice, we stripped out anything that felt like filler and built a cleaner, more deliberate identity around what was already working.
The new website was designed to reflect the personality of the place: bold, playful and straight to the point. Built to be fast, mobile-first, and easy to update in-house. No overdesign, no overthinking just the kind of user experience that doesn’t get in the way.
Ashoka’s not interested in chasing trends. Our job was to help it feel exactly like itself, just clearer, louder and harder to ignore.
